Berlin, 18 October 2019

The in-house first platform of me.mento 3D interactive GmbH was successfully uploaded to the world’s largest games platform STEAM and integrated into the ecosystem there. The vrXcity platform is thus aimed at over 100 million users registered on STEAM, including almost one million owners of high-end VR glasses (Oculus Rift or HTC Vive).

Tobias Platte, Managing Director of me.mento 3D interactive GmbH, explains: „We deliberately chose STEAM at the beginning. There we find an ideal and proven environment for launching and scaling a platform like vrXcity. We have analyzed that we have very good chances with our offer on more than 100,000 downloads to the start.

After successfully completing the test phase, vrXcity starts in the early access mode popular with many users. This next step is planned for February 2020.

The official launch of the app will be announced today at the Venus trade fair in Berlin and will be accompanied by numerous press representatives.
